Reporting to CFO, supporting COO in business operations.

Job scopes:

Representing corporate finance to understand and support business operations of all subsidiaries in growth plans and achieving the set targets and goals. To bring values to all subsidiaries, and to prepare subsidiaries for potential spin off.

  • Budgeting and forecast for group’s companies.
  • Understand the work processes of every subsidiary and corporate finance, to streamline and improve on efficiency from financial point of view.
  • To establish and maintain internal controls.
  • To review financial issues of the various business units and recommend corrective measures.
  • To prepare financial modelling and forecasting for various initiatives, eg business and investment opportunities.
  • Gap analysis on business operations from financial angle.
  • To explore grants for the group businesses, and to support in grant submissions.
  • Support CFO in cash flow and forex management of group’s companies.
  • Cost control and cost management for business operations.
  • Liaising with bankers / funders for projects on detailed information.
  • Review EXCO meeting materials
  • Setting up Authority Matrix
  • To assist CFO on any other ad-hoc projects.

In particular:

Omnisense

  • To improve on R&D recognitions for OMS and OMT operations.
  • To support in commissioning of Odoo system implementation.
  • To work on standard product costings for standard products.
  • To manage restructuring of OMS group of companies.
  • To manage transfer pricing between OMS-OMT-OMA, to optimize tax exposures.
  • To support OMS in rolling out employee shares scheme.

Sea Forrest

  • To improve on R&D recognitions for SFE / SFP.
  • To support BU CEO in grant applications.
  • To optimize financial numbers of SF group for spin off
  • To prepare SF for expansion into Europe and North America

Job requirement:

  • Degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
  • 5 years or more working experience in related fields.
  • Experience in financial and operational reporting.
  • Familiar with financial modelling.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
