Job Scope:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for electric and hybrid propulsion technologies, including motor controllers, inverters, and power distribution units.
- Facilitate wiring and troubleshooting of electrical panels used in marine electrification technologies.
- Support the integration and testing of electrical components including, control systems and battery management systems.
- Assist with set up and installations for factory acceptance testing (FAT) of electric and hybrid propulsion systems on test benches.
- Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance on electrical systems of electric and hybrid vessels, including diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance, under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Upkeeping and management of warehouse stock and supplies for electric and hybrid projects.
- Document and report on project progress, technical challenges, and outcomes.
Job requirement:
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical, Electronics or related program at a Polytechnic / University.
- Strong interest in the maritime industry and sustainable engineering solutions.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
