Job Responsibilities:
- Handles all mechanical related lab setup for in house FAT of systems
- Hands on troubleshooting and resolution of system issues during all stages of project (development, setup, FAT, SAT, warranty)
- Responsible for any mechanical system design stages of development
- Generate mechanical drawings for effective communication with suppliers
- Create systems and process flows for all relevant work to standardize work and reduce cycle times
- Create and manage all relevant documentation
- Any other responsibility as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Hands on experience with vessel mechanical and engine systems
- Experience with engineering design software. Direct hands on experience with SOLIDWORKS is a plus
- Familiarity with maritime HM&E systems and naval construction processes
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Team player and good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work in strenuous circumstances
