Job Responsibilities:

- Customer acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and generating leads in our industry.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Product knowledge: Have a deep understanding of the marine industry, including knowledge of products, services, and solutions offered by the company.
- Technical expertise: Demonstrate technical knowledge of marine and offshore equipment, parts, and systems to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
- Market intelligence: Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities in the marine and offshore industry to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaboration with internal teams: Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and engineering to ensure smooth delivery of products and services to clients.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Certifications in relevant fields.
- Basic sales experience in the marine or similiar industry, with a good track record of achieving sales targets.
- Industry knowledge: Understanding of the marine industry, including knowledge of industry players, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with marine and offshore equipment and technologies to effectively engage with customers and provide technical advice.
- Relationship building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales skills: Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and close sales deals.
- Results-driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the overall business success.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements within the marine and offshore sector.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Added advantage if you have a class 3 license/ own car for transport.
