The twice yearly event held at the Popular Book Store in Bras Basah Complex not only helps us to bond with our fellow colleagues, but it also makes us realize how fortunate we are and how we often take things for granted.
This event was organized to help the underprivileged children prepare for their new semester in the selection and purchase of stationeries and assessment books.
After that the children were entertained with face painting and balloon twisting. The little faces lit up with joy when they saw their faces being painted and when they were given the colorfully twisted balloons representing many different objects and animal characters. To think that such simple entertainment can bring so much joy to them it makes my heart smile!
