Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of networking, network security, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and explore new technologies and cybersecurity topics.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Dart, or Flutter would be an advantage.
- Participation in CTF competitions, hackathons, technical projects, or cybersecurity-related activities also an advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
The intern will work closely with the cybersecurity team and may be exposed to different areas depending on ongoing projects and business needs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with testing of systems, products, or cybersecurity solutions in a controlled laboratory environment.
- Assist with technical verification of system functions, configurations, connectivity, access controls, logging, and other security-related features.
- Support cybersecurity projects involving security tool implementation, risk assessments, audits, technical assessments, or related activities.
- Conduct research on cybersecurity technologies, security issues, industry trends, standards, and technical topics.
- Review technical manuals, datasheets, system information, and other documentation to support project activities.
- Assist with preparing and updating project documentation, technical reports, asset information, security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in developing simple scripts, tools, web applications, or internal utilities where applicable.
- Support troubleshooting, investigation, and general technical activities under the guidance of the team.
- Participate in cybersecurity-related projects, demonstrations, competitions, exhibitions, and other company activities where required.
