BH Global Corporation is proud to celebrate a momentous occasion in its history as we commemorate the 50th work anniversary of our esteemed colleague, Pnwee Eng Hock, or more well known in the company as Ah Hock. This remarkable milestone reflects half a century of unwavering commitment, dedication, and exemplary service that Ah Hock has dedicated to our organization.

Since the incorporation of Beng Hui Electrical Trading in 1973, Ah Hock has been an integral part of our company’s journey, and his contributions have played a pivotal role in the company success. Through his tireless efforts, innovative thinking, and steadfast dedication, he has helped shape many integral parts of the company’s warehouse operations. 

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, BH Global Corporation extends its deepest gratitude to Mr. Ah Hock for his 50 years of exceptional service and commitment. His contribution to our success is immeasurable, and we are profoundly grateful for his tireless dedication and loyalty.

We celebrated this achievement during our annual company event back in October, surprising Ah Hock with a visit from his family. 500 grams mint gold bars were given as the Company’s token of appreciation. BH Global’s Management team and Ah Hock’s close colleague have also gathered to film a video of appreciation for him.

Thank you, Mr. Ah Hock, for 50 years of exceptional service and dedication. We look forward to celebrating this incredible achievement and to many more years of your continued contributions to our company’s success.

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Ken Soh, CIO of BH Global Corporation, CEO of Athena Dynamics and Chair of SGTech SG’s Cyber Security Chapter for being a winner of the CIO100 Awards presented by CIO Foundry.

The CIO100 Awards recognises the top senior technology executives and teams in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong driving innovation and influencing rapid change. Winners were unveiled during an in-person awards ceremony at Suntec City Convention Centre in Singapore, housing more than 300 executives from all key markets across ASEAN, Hong Kong and the wider region.

First launched as the CIO50 ASEAN awards in 2019, it expanded to 75 awards in 2021 in recognition of a wealth of standout submissions and a desire to showcase examples of best transformation practice across all regional markets and sectors. In 2022, an additional 25 awards were added to establish the CIO100 ASEAN awards and sustained in 2023.

In 2023, CIO100 ASEAN saw expansive entries from the entire region, with tech leaders and teams represented across Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

All entries were reviewed by a select and independent CIO100 judging panel, who rated each section of the questionnaire to determine the final list. The most powerful nominations provided real-world examples of where technology and digital chiefs are successfully providing value to organisations, driving innovation and leading teams.
